11/12/13 - Please pray for Jackie Patterson's niece, Carol. She has just been diagnosed with a life-threatening cancer. Please pray for her and her family as they deal with this news. Pray for wisdom to discern the best options for her.
11/11/13 - Please pray:
- For Josiah and his family. For updated info visit their blog: http://josiah-updates.blogspot.com/
- For our children's ministry. That we would love our little ones well in our nursery and children's church. That they would learn the truth of God, the Creator who loves them and the Redeemer who pursues their hearts. That our families would be nurturing, safe places where grace is at work.

11/10/13-  Please pray for those suffering in the Philippeans from the devestating typhoon this weekend.  Pray that the Lord would bring comfort through the body of Christ and touch the lives of those who have lost loved ones and have been displaced from this natural disaster.
11/7/13 - Please pray:
- For Katie F. and her family, after the loss of her grandmother this week. Pray especially for her grandfather. Pray that they would grieve deeply knowing that Jesus hates death, yet not without hope, because Jesus is risen.

- For Redeemer folks as individuals and a church body to love our neighbors well. For us to care deeply for the people the Lord has placed around us. For us to pursue healing in all of our relationships, knowing that our God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - places high value on relationships.

11/6/13 - Please pray:
- For our pastor, Jeffrey. That the Lord would refresh him as he seeks to teach and encourage us. That Jesus would be near to him to give him ever more understanding of the Scripture and vision for how we as a church can live out our calling as the body of Christ.
- For the concluding 2 weeks of our Wednesday night "body and soul formation" series. That the Holy Spirit would apply his word to our hearts. That our community would grow stronger as we discuss and envision the big story of God together, and seek to live in it more fully.


11/5/13 - Please pray:
- For our outreach team to capture the vision of Redeemer members for where and how they can serve Midtown and Downtown
- For wisdom and direction as we seek to become more involved with some ministries where our members already serve or have a heart for serving
- For continuing cultivation of our relationship with Christ Quest

11/4/13 - Please pray especially for the following requests today:

- Josiah, as he enters LeBonheur today for an extended EEG to help doctors figure out the best treatment options.  For his parents, Merri and Stephen, and his sister Allison.  See their blog for more information:  http://josiah-updates.blogspot.com/

- Our ministry team leaders, as they organize people and make plans.  That the Lord would give them inspiration and wisdom, and that our hands would all be willing to serve.

9/30/2013  Katie’s McDaniel's aunt Mary Anne Gorman (youngest sister of Katie’s father, Pat) was traveling with her daughter Annie (18, senior at ECS) on a college visit to Mississippi State yesterday evening.  Mary Anne’s sister, Peggy (twin sister of Katie’s father), was traveling with them.  There was a single car accident.  Peggy died at the scene.  Mary Anne and Annie were transported to The Med.  Mary Anne died at the Med.  Annie remains in the ICU at The Med.  I was told that she is breathing on her own as of a little while ago, but we really don’t know much else at this point.  She’s been sedated since last night.

9/6/2013 Anna Kugler requests prayer for her friend, Jean Ballweg, a heart surgeon at LeBonheur Hospital.  She has been diagnosed with Cancer.  Please pray that she will be comforted by His healing hands.
