special thank you to reader - William Dawkins
A Song of Ascents.
121 I lift up my eyes to the hills.
From where does my help come?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot be moved;
he who keeps you will not slumber.
4 Behold, he who keeps Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord is your keeper;
the Lord is your shade on your right hand.
6 The sun shall not strike you by day,
nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord will keep you from all evil;
he will keep your life.
8 The Lord will keep
your going out and your coming in
from this time forth and forevermore.

Prayer Request Updates:
  • Update for Priscilla Cunningham's sister-in-law's surgery yesterday is that the surgery was longer than they expect but  the two surgeons reported  that all went well.  Said tumor was benign (to a high degree of certainty.  Since then they have come back and said they think there is still an area of the tumor they missed so they may have to go back in to remove more.
    Please pray for God's healing power and a speedy recovery.   Also pray for Priscilla as she ministers to her sister and family during this time.
  • Please be in Prayer for our Medical Missionaries as they wind down there time serving:
from 1979 Book of Common Prayer
For Travelers

O God, our heavenly Father, whose glory fills the whole
creation, and whose presence we find wherever we go: Preserve
those who travel [in particular Austin, Megan and Annie]; surround
them with your loving care; protect them from every danger;
and bring them in safety to their journey's end; through
Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

For Protection

Assist us mercifully, O Lord, in these our supplications and
prayers, and dispose the way of thy servants towards the
attainment of everlasting salvation; that, among all the
changes and chances of this mortal life, they may ever be
defended by thy gracious and ready help; through Jesus
Christ our Lord. Amen.
