Prayer Requests for the D's

Prayer Requests trip to K

We asked the D's to give us 4 categories that we could pray for during their 4 weeks in K.  We may alternate these every few days but also wanted to provide this list to guide our prayers for them while they are away.  They will be gone from September 5 - October rd.  Please join us in lifting up them up and supporting them with our prayers.  

1. D family safety and health:  smooth travel logistics, safety on planes, in  and getting to K, protection from diseases (especially the serious ones, but even travelers' diarrhea could be a real problem for ___, being as young as she is), jetlag, especially for ___.

2. 's work at the hospital:  ability to communicate and develop a rapport with patients and hospital staff, insight and wisdom in dealing with diseases that are not often encountered in the US, compassion, energy, and a heart of service to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need.

3. Personal relationships:  mutual encouragement with those we encounter, that we would learn from each other across cultures and differences of life experience.

4.  Spiritual growth: for our family to be shaped in the image of Jesus, used for his kingdom purposes both in _____ and after we return home and contemplate the direction of our lives.
